More videos...

Here are some more quick videos of Wake. As you can see I can't get enough of him recorded. I am afraid I am going to miss something. ha ha! Plus I love sharing everything he is doing with everyone. Here are two more videos of him playing in his baby einstein gym that his Aunt Leila got him and then one of him doing tummy time. He is doing so well with holding his head up now and loves laying in his gym looking at the lights. It is amazing to watch him grow before our eyes.

Trip to Aunt LeAnn's

Last weekend we went to see my Aunt LeAnn and cousin Cindy and her family. It was a short visit but it was full of fun. It was nice to get away but I wish Shawn could have come with us. It was Wake's first real road trip and our first time away from Daddy. We hope to not have to do it again anytime soon as it was hard for daddy to be away from his baby boy! But, it was awesome to see family and Wake got to meet more cousins. It's funny because he met his 5 month old cousin, Noah, and Wake was bigger than him. I have a big boy on my hands! He did really good and the best of all...I got my Aunt LeAnn's famous fried chicken...my favorite!!!

His first time in a walker...he didnt quite know what to do as his feet didn't even touch the ground!

First time in a swing...

His famous expressionless look...they say he gets it from his mommy! LOL!!!

Look mommy, I can hold up my head now!

Wake is now starting to really hold his head up a lot. It is amazing to see him grow and learn new things. He now smiles when he sees us, can grab a hold of things and holds his head up all the time. He is so much more aware of his surroundings and will follow us with his eyes as we move around and pass by him. Its amazing at how fast he's grown!

Today was also his first day of day care. I am a very sad mommy. I start work tomorrow and took him to do a trial run today. I am trying to hurry up and finish this post so I can go pick him up. He has only been there a few hours and I am so excited to see him. Of course I cried like a baby and have had a really hard time with it. I think I am worse off than he is. This is probably one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I just love the little guy more than life itself. I dread going back to work but I know I have to and I know it will get easier as time goes on. It will be nice to get out of the house more and get on a schedule...but it still sucks!!!!

Baby Talk

Here is a little clip of Wake talking. He is starting to talk so much more and we love it. He is growing so fast. I just can't get enough of his smiles and coos. He also loves to suck on his hand now and it keeps him occupied often.

Beach Baby

Wake finally made his debut at the beach...and now daddy is counting down the days to get him on a surfboard. We put his feet in the sand and water and he loved it. We can't wait for him to be able to run and splash around...but yet we can wait.
