All Smiles

I was able to capture a few pictures of Wake smiling. He is still in his pajamas as you can see (they are a little big on him). He always wakes up happy and smiles and coos and I hope to try to capture more of those moments.

Our little Water Baby!

As you can see Wake loved the water...he was calm and happy as could be. He loves water and Shawn is ready to get him surfing already! We hope to continue to keep introducing him to water the older he gets. He was only in for about 10 minutes at the most b/c it was hot out and the chlorine worries me on his skin. It was so sweet and he absolutely loved it!!!

Daddy and son play time!!!

I was going through my camera and found these pictures. They are hilarious. It must have been Shawn taking pictures while holding him one day. As you can see he is enjoying Wake and loves playing with him. Funny how he always yells at me and says I dress him like "dork" yet he does things like this to him! LOL!!! I think they are so funny though. Wake looks like he is saying..."Daddy, would you please leave me alone".... Too cute!

Visit from Grampa Mac!

This past weekend Grampa Mac came to visit and was able to enjoy some time with his first grandson! Wake loved meeting him and I think Grampa got his fill of holding him. As you can see from the pictures he even put Wake to sleep! It was an awesome visit and we had a great time!

1 Year Anniversary!

May 24th was our 1 year anniversay! Can you believe it??? And look, we now have a beautiful baby boy...we didn't waste any time did we? LOL!!! Shawn and I were able to have a night out for the first time since Wake was born...thanks to Gramma! Wake stayed home with Gramma and did awesome. Shawn and I went to see Cirque de Soleil's "Simbaltico". It was awesome. We were in the front row on the corner of the stage. We then went and had dinner at Maggiano's. It was an awesome night, but we were surprised at how much we missed out little guy. I think I called my mom 5 times to check on him. Its strange to go out without him now!!!

The Cutest Boy Ever!!!

This is my all time favorite picture of my little man!!! Isn't he adorable? I am such a proud mommy and think he is the cutest baby boy alive! (I'm not biased am I?) We went to the doctor today to see about why he is so fussy and colicky and you will never guess what he weighed...14 lbs!!! (mind you he will only be 8 weeks this friday) I am amazed at how big and fast he is growing. But the doctor just laughed and said he is fine! He is my chunky monkey!!!

Trip to Aunt Jenny's

Wake just took his first road trip...we went about 1 1/2 hours away to Port Orange to visit my best friend Jenny. He did great on the way there but it was a rough trip back as he was fussy. It's tough to travel without having Shawn, but we had a great time and Jenny got some wonderful pictures. She had so many ideas but he was not very cooperative so we will try again next time. But here are few that we were able to get. He has gotten so big! We have learned that he loves fuzzy, furry blankets and loves to lay on them. He is so stinking cute that I just love him so!
